R.J. Palacio
R.J. Palacio is a veteran art major and book jacket designer.
In 2007, R.J. Palacio was on a trip with her son to New York. She came across a girl with what she thought was Treachery-Collins syndrome. Ever since she thought and knew that she could change how other people criticize other people because of their appearances. She wrote the book to tell people to not "judge a book by it's cover." The book title is "Wonder," because Natalie Merchant has a good so called Wonder really helped her shape the vision of the book. Palacio wrote this book to show young readers and people all across to not judge a book by their face. Another reason why she wrote this book was because, to tell anybody that anyone can "blend in if you were born to stand out." Palacio wrote this book to tell kids that other people around them may be different and look different than other people. This book really shows how people should be treated the right way.
