I really think that this book gives a good representation of how people may be bullied, by how their face may look. The reason why Palacio wrote this book was a really cool thing to do. This book tells people that it might be hard to be nice to people with their own flaws, but you shouldn't be that rude because you don't know what they are going through anywhere. I think this book was the best one to come out in 2012, because of the theme of the book, kindness. This book really gives a good representation of how kindness might be all around us even if we can't see it. How the characters reacted really caught my eye because like Auggie, the main character in the book could have reacted to all the people that bullied him, but he knew that it was going to happen to him, therefore really kept his thoughts to himself. In this book, I really liked how all the characters all different from how they treat others. This novel was a real book, I totally recommend it to anybody that needs a good book to read. I really like how this book gives a really good representation of how people with the kind of disability that Auggie Pullman may be treated. I feel that I really thought that I relate to Auggie because I have gotten bullied before for something that I can't really change about myself. After I read this book, I learned that I together shouldn't bully people because of their appearance. One major moral of this book is to not judge a book by its cover. Before you bully somebody and talk bad about them, you should learn more about them and rethink if you should really treat them how you want to treat them. It may be really hard sometimes to not bully somebody with the appearance that they might have, but it might make those people that they do not matter and they might do things to themselves to hurt themselves, but that might hurt their family. This book really sums up the life of somebody with these disabilities and how they may be treated by some people. This book all together made me cry the first time I read it because it was really hard to kind of see how Auggie Pullman was treated by people and how loved he was by his family even because of his disabilities.
